Molten Ventures × Nasdaq
Times Square
Takeover
Developed for Molten Ventures’ first US Portfolio Day in New York, this seven-minute film was designed to loop across an hour-long takeover of Nasdaq’s seven-storey Times Square display. Twenty-two portfolio companies were given space to appear, turning one of the world’s most competitive advertising environments into a moving portrait of European technology.
The canvas was anything but conventional: a towering curved portrait screen punctured by 26 working office windows. Type, scale and movement had to be composed around the architecture so every piece remained legible from street level and coherent as it wrapped around the building.
Working with Buff Motion, I took the sequence from content planning through to final delivery. A comprehensive Portfolio Content Production Guide gave all 22 participating brands a common framework; their separately authored films were then shaped into a unified visual wrapper inspired by the state change and energy transfer of the Molten brand.
Twenty-two distinct films, one unconventional screen and a single seven-minute identity.
